After the exciting experience I had during our paintball team building activity, I was engrossed to learn more about paintball and now I’m ready to buy my first paintball gun.

There’s a wide variety you can choose from when looking for paintball guns. The price ranges from one hundred fifty to over five hundred dollars. I personally wanted to be a sniper during a paintball game that is why I’m looking at buying the sniper set. This set already contains everything a sniper should have – I’m already excited to get this stuff delivered to my door and begin our backyard paintball games with my friends!

Just recently, before the summer 2009 ended, my work colleagues went out for a fun team-building activity. This time, we opted for something different, not the usual beach tripping, instead we went and had some Paintball experience. We were divided into four teams, each will have their own camp and the objective is protect your camp and stay alive in the game. As we were getting ready, each one of us wore our gears, and of course each received our ultimate weapon – the paintball gun. Our paintball guns were loaded with limited shots, hence it was part of the challenge to make sure each of our paintball gun bullets is used wisely and as much as possible – hit our opponents.

Let the game begin! It was a hot sunny day, each team had their own strategy in the war pod. With very less knowledge about guns in general, I felt great when I first held my paintball gun. As If I was in a real battle, I geared up and stood on my post. The first few shots were terrible, my shots went nowhere. But I personally considered that as some practice. I got better feel of my paintball gun as the game went on. I tried to snap shoot the opponents, I quickly came out of the bunker, shoot, and return real fast to a protected area – this was my strategy the whole time, and believe me, it worked for me.

One of the best experience I had during the game was, of course, hitting the opponent – but even better if you do it with style. Moving from one bunker to another, I had to sometime shoot while moving as I see the opportunity to hit the enemy. The feeling was great especially when at one point, I was able to corner one of our opponents. He had the choice to raise his hand and surrender, but he never did, so I had no choice but to fire at him.

paintball guns could really hurt, even if you got hit by a long-range shot. One of our colleagues got hit and the bullet went through his head guard, when we checked, he got his forehead bruised. We indeed had the best and powerful paintball guns in this fun and bruising activity!

It was a tiring yet and exciting and fun-filled activity, we want to do it again, but this time we want to do it in our backyard with our own gadgets and paintball guns.

I am a certified paintball gun player for the past few years and have been a very good team player as such. I use a Tippmann marker, specifically the X-7 with flatline barrel as my choice of weapon and my favorite team assignment is usually the support or sniper guy and Tippmann sniper is a good equipment to use in such conditions. The accuracy I get from around 50 to 100 meters is actually good enough at a calculated 89% to 92% accuracy (which is quite accurate for paintball guns) depending on the terrain and weather conditions. As we know the skill of a user is highly also affected by the equipment used and I could say the Tippmann markers is one of the best choices there is.

I have always been accustomed to using my Spyder Compact paintball gun and especially loved it’s being almost “weightless” and easy trigger control, but after one time where I had to replace my gun temporarily due to the upgrades, I was lent by my friend the the A-5 Tippmann series and man, it was a blast using this paintball gun. Its sleek design coupled with the flat line Tippmann barrel for sniping really had me wanting this gun so bad and boy, was it worth it when finally my order had arrived from my friend in the US. I am now a certified Tippmann fan.

I grew up playing laser tag with my old neighbors so eventually, I missed playing that game. I decided to round up a few of my old neighbors and suggested that we have our old war games, the way we did when we were kids. One of them said that paintball is the new laser tag and we should try it out. He said that it had a more realistic feel to it compared to playing laser tag. So we all agreed to give it a try and went online to look for a site which had paintball guns for sale as well as other gear for our new sport. We came across this site and it was literally an answer to our prayers. I instantly fell i love with one of the paintball goggles which was on sale so I decided to buy it right away before stocks ran out. It went perfectly well with the suit and the paintball gun that I bought from their site as well. Since we were able to buy everything we needed from just one site, we were able to start right away. Now, we see each other during the weekends to try and kill each other… on the paintball field that is…
